Membership Dues Structure Reduced

Did you know that as an ICMA member you are automatically a Cal-ICMA member? And, did you know, the Cal-ICMA chapter of ICMA, has more ICMA members than any other chapter or state? There are more than 400 corporate or full-members made up of City Managers and Assistant/Deputy Mangers; when you include our affiliate members, we are 1,500 strong, and there is always room for more.

To that point, for the first time ever, ICMA membership dues have been reduced. For full-members the salary adjusted factor decreased and is now capped at $1200. There is also a smaller communities discount for full members working for a local government with a population less than or equal to 7,500 and a General Fund Budget less than or equal to $7.8 million who can receive an additional 20% discount. And, affiliate membership for Department Heads, Analysts, and other up-and-comers is only $200 – what a great way to invest in professional development!
